7 Deadly Sins Collection

It is already week 10 which means that this term as come to an end as well as my project about the 7 Deadly Sins. Although it was very stressful, I am really happy with the whole process and outcomes. I feel like in a short space of time I have improved a lot. There is still a lot of space to improvement and I am looking forward for it but for now I am already satisfied with what I was able to achieve.

These were the outcomes of the sins:

Ira

Acedia

Avaritia

Gula

Superbia

Luxuria

Invidia

For these I only used this amount of acrylic colours:

Once I had a teacher who said that we only needed this colours to make every tone we could imagine.  For this reason, I only used: White, turquoise blue, black, primary yellow, primary magenta, ultramarine deep, carmine red and yellow ochre. Making these paintings was a good exercise for me in order to be ale to understand how to achieve different tones and colours.

These were the only two paintbrushes that I used for the entire project, given that I left the majority of my material in Leicester:

And as I said before, I used an A2 sheet size with 400gm which I cut afterwards. That it is to say that each painting has 32,5cm of width and 44,8cm of height.
