Website: Creating the first pages

In order to create a website I started by choosing on of the templates pre made. Between the many options that I had, I chose the one that is in the next image. 

I thought that this template would made my website to look very professional and organised.  For the entire website I used for the text the theme Heading 2 and the font Avenir Light. Furthermore, I used a high number fot the space between characters, specially in the titles.

Home page

After choosing it, I putted as background one of my favourite photos. This photo was taken last summer with my Nikon D3500 in Pico Ruivo, Madeira Island at 7am. I also added a widget of the Visitor Analytics App.

 

Lastely, I changed the text and edited in order for it to look similar with the rest of the website. Furthermore, I added a transparent white layer where the name of the blog is so that it would highlight the home pages and the menu. 

After completing everything that I needed in the home page, I verified that in the mobile phone the composition of it changed so I made some alterations and this was the result:

Biography

I did my biography during last week's lecture. I think that it might be a little bit extensive but I thought that was important to put everything that I wrote. 

After writing the biography I had to find a photo of me that would look good with the background. I addded it in the right side of the text. I am still not sure it this is the photo that I am going to use until the end of the module but it is a previous one for now.

Contacts

The image that I chose for the contacts is a previsional image, since I did't like how it turned how with the background.  However I would like to use it in another space of my website since it is my favourite artwork that I ever made.

Few days later doing this page I still didn't liked how it looked so I started doing some chnages in the format of it.

This is how the page is currently looking like. I am still not sure about the image but for now it is going to be this one.

Little by little I hope to improve the aspect of my website so that it reflects me as an artist and person. I want it to be simple, to give people a sense of calm and felicity. In my point of view,  sunrises represent new beginnings, this is my new beginning, my new journey.
