Folio Board: Sin of Gluttony

 Since I have done already research about the sin of Gluttony, I decided to do a sketch of what I pretend to do in the final painting. For this I used oil pastels, which is why the sketch is a little bit rough. The colour palette was inspired in the painting "The Scream" by Edvard Munch, the blues in the background will probably be what will give the collection consistency, since I intend to use it as background in all the paintings. 

Taking into account my research about the sin, I painted it in orange, which is the colour associated with gluttony. I also sketched a snake in his neck and the figure has a big mouth. The sketch is clearly not perfect but the main points and ideas are in there.

On the board there are different representations of the sin of gluttony which helped me to illustrate it. Furthermore, there is also a snake and a rat considering that it is part of the punishment of those who sin. The board was only to help visualize what I intend to do and how I intend to do it, but I expect to do further sketches this time in A3 size.
