Gula: Process

 It is week 7 and since I have already finished the research that I needed to start the project I have began to draw the final pieces. I started by doing the sin of gluttony considering that it was the one that I have completed more sketches so far and also the one I used for the folio board.

This is the final result:

Then I started by adding the first and second layer:

It was not compact enough so I added more layers:

For these I used enumerous images to help me create the outcome the more realistic I could. Since I am only starting my pathway in the Arts it is still difficult for me to draw something without visualizing it. Therefore I used some of these images:

I am really happy with the painting so far, specially with the face. I also think that the colour look nice among each element of the painting which was something that I was worried about when I started to paint. While painting I altered most of the colours comparing it with the sketches that I had made previously, but during the process it was what felt more right to me.

I also have already started sketches for the sin of sloth, but I will upload it in another post during the week.
