The Man: Collective Work

During our second session of the week, my class and I had to draw a portrait of a man in about 15 minutes. It was given the following instruction:

"You can see a face it is a mans face, grizzly and marked, his mouth is but a black slit and his hair a nest of dirty matted strands, his eyes are emerald green, piercing and shining, looking right at you, seeing into you…"

These were the results:

It was interesting to see the drawings of my colleagues and how they interpreted the information in the text in a different way that I did even though it was given the exact same text to all of us. Some look more scary, others more adorable, which proves that we have all different charateristics and that our personality, knowledge and skills also makes our artworks to be different and unique.

  1. Good work that you have added this - you should add your own individual work too so we can see which is yours
