Luxuria: Process

In this post there is the process of the sin of lust. In this painting I used elements such as the snake and the apple, which are commonly associated with this sin, specially because of the story of Adam and Eve.

It is a lot different from the final piece. I made a painting based in this sketch but I was not happy with the result so I did this painting over again using different elements from the ones I used in the sketch.

This was the second try of the painting:

Then I added the first layers, but because I didn't make much nude I wasn't able to paint the face with this first layer. Instead I tried to to already some shadows:

When I made mixed more nude, then I painted the face:

Finally I added more shadows and highlighted some more elements:

I am aware that the last picture is not goood enough to use it in my blog, but I expect to take good photos of all drawings tomorrow. Having said that, for this painting I used once again two flat pencils milan (n.º 4 and 8) and an A2 size sheet with 400gm.
